Biography
Fun Fact: I make jewelry in my spare time !
Hello! I'm Demi, a South Jersey native, and I intend to concentrate in Chemical Engineering. I aspire to work in the water sector to combat chemical pollution in international water supplies. I also enjoy playing piano (especially Chopin pieces!), playing tennis, drawing, and collecting trinkets. I look forward to being a part of the close-knit and driven community of PSP!
Research
This summer, I conducted research under Professor Ibarra as an undergraduate research assistant. I specifically analyzed the efficacy of limestone as a feedstock for enhanced rock weathering, a new carbon dioxide removal strategy scientists are currently researching. Since joining the Ibarra Lab, I've learned the importance of lab culture and how an encouraging lab community can impact the work done by the group.
