Hey, I’m Angelina from Bakersfield, California, and I am interested in combining my Gender and Sexuality Studies concentration with my pre-med plans. Ideally, I would help reduce healthcare inequities in communities such as the LGBTQ+ community. My motivation comes from recognizing that these groups have been systematically underserved for decades, especially in my city. I’m excited that PSP will enable me to start my first steps with research and direct community impact! Otherwise, I enjoy gardening, being creative, and attempting to recreate restaurant recipes.
