Biography

Fun Fact: I'm an only child!

Hello! My name is Aubrie Miller. I was born in Arizona and grew up in Utah. At Brown, I’m concentrating in English, Comparative Literature, and History of Art and Architecture. I love learning languages and have varying degrees of proficiency in Spanish, French, German, and Italian. I am a Student Curatorial Assistant at the John Hay Library and an editor for the Critical Review. PSP has been an incredible opportunity and I would not be where I am today without it!

Research

In the summer of 2024, I continued my research from last summer with Professor Dan Sinykin (Emory) and graduate student Nora Shaalan (Columbia). I worked on projects in modern and contemporary literary culture, focusing on editorial curation in The New Yorker and diversity in contemporary independent publishers. In the summer of 2023, I did archival research at the New York Public Library, which prepared me for my work this summer.
