I was born in Chicago, IL, but spent most of my life in São José dos Campos, Brazil. The Presidential Scholars Program is an excellent opportunity to meet other students interested in research in an array of fields. Personally, I'm fascinated by the vastness of space, specifically the physical interactions in the cosmos, alongside the engineering processes for humans to achieve flight. In that sense, I wish to pursue research in astrophysics or engineering to expand our collective knowledge and interaction with the outer space phenomenon.
