Presidential Scholars Program

Fun Fact:  I love Lana del Rey.

I was born in Macon, Georgia, but was raised in the small town of Byron, Georgia, for most of my life. I intend to concentrate in neuroscience because I have always had a fascination with the brain since I was a child. This passion grew after my grandfather experienced immense trauma to his spinal cord, which pushed me to research how these injuries impact the functions of the brain. I am excited to be a part of the Presidential Scholars Program because it will provide me with access to research opportunities. My hobbies include Mexican folkloric dance and singing.
