Marco Antonio Lima is born and raised in Providence, RI. He primarily works in advocacy and has done research on public policy, culturally-responsive teaching practices, and the COVID-19 pandemic. His interests are in Public Health and plans to conduct research on health disparities for BIPOC individuals. In doing so, he strives to uplift the voices of youth who experience challenges created as a byproduct of racism. Outside of academics, he enjoys being outside and experiencing nature.
