Fun fact:  I have three sisters yet none of us look related to each other!

Hi! My name is Mia Mira and I'm an FGLI Salvadoran student from Los Angeles, CA interested in studying public health. I was initially interested in only studying biology, but I came to love environmental science and public policy when I took courses related to those two subjects in high school, so I figured that public health captured all of these interests! I hope to help enact equitable health care through this concentration and the research that PSP enables me to do, so I'm really excited about that—especially epigenetics!! Other than STEM, I love watching movies, drawing, and going to the beach.
