Fun Fact: I love to crochet!

Hi I'm Samantha (she/her) and I'm a first gen student from the Bronx, New York. My parents are from the Dominican Republic and Guatemala so I grew up speaking both English and Spanish. I love to read, cook, and learn about different cultures through traditions and music. The diversity of my community has taught me so much about languages and immigration but has also shown me how POC communities lack quality resources in areas such as healthcare. Thus, I intend to concentrate in Public Health or Medical Anthropology to continue my interests in culture and creating equitable healthcare.
