Hello! My name is Vanessa Araujo. I was born in Northwest Arkansas and have lived there my entire life! I plan to concentrate in biomedical engineering; however, neuroscience has piqued my interest as of late. A couple of summers ago, I participated in a program that introduced me to biochemistry, engineering, and immunology through lectures and readings. That summer I decided I wanted to pursue a STEM degree and ultimately went with biomed engineering.

I am excited to be a part of PSP for many reasons including learning how to search for opportunities in research!
